WE BELIEVE We believe that God is one and that The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are the three manifestations of the one God. (Deteronomy. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 44:6-8; John.1:1; 1John 5:7-8) We believe that all are sinners by nature and therefore must be born again of water and of Spirit. (Romans 3:23; Romans 11:32; Galatians 3:22;John.3:3-6; 2 Corinthians 5:17). We believe in the baptism by immersion, in the name of JESUS. (Acts 2:38; Acts 10:48; Acts 19:5; 1Peter 3:21). We believe that all those who are saved must receive the baptism of The Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables them. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6) We believe in the imminent and personal return of our Lord Jesus-Christ. (Matthew 16:27; Acts 1:11; 1Corinthians 15:23; 1Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 1:7). We believe that the blood of Jesus-Christ is the only atonement for sin. (Romans 3:25; Hebrews 2:17; 1John. 4:10; Colossians 1:20; Ephesians 2:13). We believe that man is justified solely by faith in the shed blood of Jesus-Christ. (Romans 3:24-28; Habakuk 2:4; Ephesians 2:8-10; Revelation 12:11). We believe in divine healing by laying on of hands. (Mark 16: 17-18; James. 5:13-16). We believe in the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and they must be operational in the church. (1Corinthians 12: 8-10). We believe in the Lord’s Supper. (Mark 14:22-26; 1Corinthians 23-34). We believe in the personality of Satan. He has been defeated at the Cross by Jesus-Christ. He will be thrown into the lake of fire. ( Genesis 3:15; Colossians 2:15; Hebrews 2:14;John 16:11; Revelation 20:7-10). 12) We believe in eternal life. (John 3:16). |
